So in a first row we can see ash,GOH and pikachu. In a second row we see many series releted Pokémon. And the third row we can see ash all Pokémon. Now first one is mr.mime second we can see dragonite next lucario and then galar sirfetch's. After sirfetch'd we see a master ball. 

In a present time a new Pokemon merchandise release in a social media. In that merchandise we see mewtwo come inside the master ball. So it could be happened that ash ketchum catch mewtwo in pokemon journeys the series. 

So it is true that ash ketchum mewtwo or not. So my opinion is ash not catch Mewtwo after all.
