Pokemon anime start in 1996 but ash age not grow at all. In Pokémon journeys the series we finally see that ash ketchum age grow. So how?

In Pokémon journeys the series episode 37 we going to see Professor kukui baby. Now we know that in alola region we see last time professor kukui and his wife. And there ash live. But when ash come back in kanto then we saw professor kukui wife pregnant. But in Pokémon journeys the series episode 37 we saw professor kukui have a baby. So basically 1 year pass. 

So we can say that ash now 11 year old. Because when ash went alola region where ash age is 10 and after 1 year leter ash grow in 11.
